Hartford College Sydney will host Joseph Pearce's one and only tour of Australia. Raised in England, Joseph resides in the United States with his family. He is an internationally acclaimed bestselling author, speaker, teacher, esteemed biographer and scholar of great books from the classical to the modern.

Who is Joseph Pearce?
Joseph Pearce is an English-born American writer, known for his biographies of literary figures and his work in promoting Christian culture.

Pearce is an internationally acclaimed author, who has written over 30 books and enriched his audiences with countless speeches, podcasts, editorials, lectures and television presentations. Renowned for his biographies of literary giants including William Shakespeare, J.R.R. Tolkien, Oscar Wilde, C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, and Hilaire Belloc, his works explore the intersection of literature and faith, reflecting his deep commitment to Christian culture.

Professor Pearce has held various academic positions, including Director of the Center for Faith and Culture at Aquinas College in Nashville, Tennessee. He has also taught at Ave Maria University and Thomas More College of Liberal Arts. Additionally, he is a co-editor of the St. Austin Review and has hosted TV series on EWTN.
